Hollow Down, Word Humboldt, Julia Fikelstein
We're proud to present a night of poetry and music with Hollow Down and the Word Humboldt Crew! Word Humboldt has been hosting a weekly poetry open mic at Northtown Coffee in Arcata, CA that has rapidly grown into a large, inclusive, very welcoming event that many artists and listeners look forward to every week. Wil Gibson, Dylan Collins, Alyx Muro, Rashad Hedgepath and Aundrea Stuckey will be performing spoken word along with DJ Goldylocks will be on the tables to support the crew. Hollow Down has been collaborating with WHC co-conspirator Wil Gibson for some time now and this extension of their work together promises to be a new step in the evolution of Wil as part of the Hollow Down project and community at large. $5 door for the evening. There will be an Open Mic to kick off the night and Jullia Fikelstein will be painting periodically throughout the evening. Doors open/signups begin at 9:00, and the open mic will be from 9:30-10:30 pm. Come let your voice be heard!
