Trinity Celtic Games
Join Tangle Blue Saloon and The B.A.M.T. Coalition for Fun Times for the 3rd annual Trinity Celtic Games, Saturday April 14th, 2018 at Lee Fong Park in beautiful Weaverville, CA. This year we are introducing a few new events to keep the competition fresh and it is shaping up to be the best games yet! The Trinity Celtic Games is a day of fierce competition and fun in the style of Scottish Highland Games. This is a RAIN or SHINE event – please dress appropriately and wear sturdy shoes. The admission price for competitors is $25. This fee covers entry into the Feats of Strength competition for your chance to take home the Celtic Warrior crown plus all-you-can-drink domestic pints from noon until 6pm.Have a team? Great! Co-ed teams of 4 are encouraged. Going it alone? We've got your back, and will hook you up with other singles so no one is left out! The opening ceremony kicks off at noon with athletic competition to follow. Events include a caber toss, rock-put, and keg toss. All ages are welcome to attend, but you must be 21 or older to participate in the events. ID is required. Space is limited, so sign up early! Want to watch but don't want to play? Admission for spectators is FREE! There will be a CASH ONLY (no ATM on site) bar with beer on tap and well drinks available for purchase at happy hour prices all day! We will also have Miss Darla of DBQ’s Curious Cow BBQ on site serving up corned beef tacos and quesadillas at great prices! After the games, please join us for the after party at Tangle Blue Saloon! Tangle Blue Saloon and B.A.M.T. encourage responsible drinking. Always have a designated driver and please do not drink and drive. There are multiple accommodations within walking distance to the park and the saloon, and cab service will also be available. Tangle Blue Saloon is a locally owned full bar with pool tables, large screen TV's for sports, live music, and wood-fired pizzas, calzones, & salads. The BAMT Coalition for Fun Times is a local organization dedicated to bringing the fun to Trinity County.
