Tom Keter's Stories, Songs, and History of the Mighty Eel

Join Tom Keter for an afternoon of historic stories of the North Fork Eel River watershed, guitar playing and songs. Tom has studied historic and prehistoric sites and interviewed many individuals who were raised in this remote region in the early 20th century, where homesteads, schools and even a Post Office were still only accessible by trail.
Tom is a retired Forest Archaeologist at Six Rivers National Forest. He studied how the end of human-caused wildfires by Native Americans has affected Douglas fir forests and oak woodlands.
This free lecture is brought to you by Lost Coast Interpretive Association, in association with Redwood Playhouse Presents. LCIA is a member of the King Range alliance, in Partnership with the BLM King Range
