The Settlers: A Film Screening & Discussion
J Street Humboldt will hold a free showing and facilitated discussion of the award-winning film "The Settlers" on Tuesday, February 13 at 6:00 PM at Temple Beth El, 3233 T Street, Eureka. This powerful film takes a hard look at the world of Israeli settlers in the West Bank. Combining history and headlines, and benefiting from an unprecedented access to leaders of the Settler movement, THE SETTLERS is the first comprehensive look at the meeting point, where radicals, idealists, messianic fanatics, true believers and political opportunists, living on the fault lines of an age-old conflict, come face to face with history itself. Settlers are a potent force in the political landscape of Israel/Palestine, a force that must be taken into account for any hope of peace in this troubled region.
