The Inaugural Fresh Strange Fridays
Things at The Jam Arcata are about to get Fresh and Strange. Humboldt Green is producing the Inaugural Fresh Strange Fridays after Arts Arcata on Friday, March 9th. Enjoy music, comedy, art and media celebrating the Humboldt commUnity. There will be infused drink and food specials and a Fancy Pants Dance Off. Headlining the very first Fresh Strange Friday is Jah Sun. Local artists Nac One, Justin Miller aka DJ Just One and B. Swizlo will also be taking the stage. Crack a smile with local comedians Dr. Foxmeat & Pete Andrew Nelson. Local drum troupe Samba Floresta will be in the house. Katie Rose RainbowMaker will be doing a live painting during the event. The live art painting will be auctioned off at the end of the night to support a local non-profit. Fresh Strange Friday is a great way to enjoy a night out, get involved in the commUnity and support local artists of all types. We hope to share the night with you - it's sure to be Fresh and Strange!
