The Birds & Bees Educational Series

It's National Pollinator Week! The Humboldt County Beekeepers Association will join with the Humboldt Botanical Garden's Birds & Bees program to share with the community a special day to celebrate the honey bee and other pollinators. Beekeepers and other specialists will provide insights on honey bees and beekeeping, native bees and bee-friendly gardening. Come and learn what you can do to support pollinators. The observation hive will be buzzing for you to get a closer look at the honey bee colony. Information to promote pollinator well-being will be on hand. All are welcome to join us for this exciting and special day!
Saturday, June 24th 12:00-2:00. Coffee and refreshments provided.

This Series is made possible through a grant by the McLean Foundation. The Humboldt Botani-cal Gardens is partnering with the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge to present monthly educational programs titled “The Birds and Bees Educational Series” focusing on plants, animals and insects of the North Coast Region.
