Sustainable Futures Speaker Series
As part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series, Dominic Corva will present "Rethinking the Nature of Cannabis and Social Policy in the Context of Post-Prohibition." Dominic Corva is founder and Executive Director of the Center for the Study of Cannabis and Social Policy. In this talk, he will address drug reform within the context of post-prohibition (i.e. legalization "with prohibition" rather than "after prohibition"), arguing that for drug policy reform, legalization is necessary but insufficient as an instrument of social policy. His presentation will also address implications for environmental regulation associated with post-prohibition cannabis landscapes. Location: Founders Hall 118, Humboldt State University campus
