Richard Bishop, guitarist and founding member of the band Sun City Girls (1981-2007), released his first solo record (Salvador Kali) in 1998 on John Fahey’s esteemed Revenant label. Since then he has released over a dozen albums on labels such as Drag City, Locust Music, Southern Records (U.K.), Unrock, and more.
With support from local Drag City all-stars Winter Band (feat. members of Comets on Fire, Six Organs of Admittance, Skygreen Leopards, & more), plus the psych-tinged world music sounds of The Uncredible Phin Band (feat. members of Datura Blues, ex-White Manna, and CV). Bar opens at 6pm. Music after 8pm.
