Self Defense & Improvised Tools of Defense
This course will cover basic self-defense, as well as defenses against assaults by multiple assailants, takedowns, and some weapons. Unlike most self-defense courses we will also cover a portion of discipline of improvised weaponry, the ability to use the surrounding objects as tools of defense. Class runs Sept. 7 - Dec. 7 on Thursdays, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Location: Recreation & Wellness Center, Room 126. Registration Deadline: Friday before the course.
