Seabirds of Trinidad Lecture
Learn about the seabirds that live along the Humboldt coast at a free lecture sponsored by the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust, Friends of the Dunes and the Bureau of Land Management. The lecture will be offered twice, at two different locations: Wednesday, February 27, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center and Tuesday, March 5, 6:30-7:30 at the Trinidad Town Hall. Biologist Russell Namitz of the North Coast Seabird Protection Network will share information about seabirds such as Common Murres, Pigeon Guillemots and Pelagic Cormorants and provide information for those interested in becoming involved in the Trinidad Citizen Seabird Monitoring Program.
