Join us for a Friday night out with vibrant music and powerful words at the first Rhythm and Rhymes event! It's going down at The Basement, Arcata's newest live music venue with a beautiful vintage stage and full bar with wine, cocktails along with delicious appetizers.
Featuring live R&B, hip hop and Reggae music along with spoken word performances and a Freestyle Cypher!
J Delila will be here from San Francisco bringing her beautiful voice and real lyrics to the stage!
Music performances by Emani, Kemistree, Al Bear, Ju Drum, Lionissachar and Aunjour, and an amazing live freestyle Cypher that will blow your mind featuring Flo-J Simpson, Rufian, Verge & Sequoya Faulk, along with powerful poetry to start the night by Monique Desir, Crystal Diaz, Dylan Collins, Alyx, Ra & Bamidele.
DJ Goldylocks will lay down the early vibes spinning vinyl on the 1's and 2's and DJ Pressure will close the night out bringing the energy to the dance floor.
