Restoring Redwood Forests in a Changing Climate

Emily Burns from Save the Redwoods League will speak at HSU in Founders Hall 118 on Thursday, March 22 at 5:30 p.m., as part of the Sustainable Futures Speaker Series. Burns is the League’s Director of Science, and is also a research associate in the Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Department at UC Santa Cruz. In this lecture, Burns will explore relationships between coast redwood forest restoration efforts and climate change. The Sustainable Futures Speaker Series creates interdisciplinary discussion, debate, and collaboration around issues related to energy, the environment, and society.
