Queen Of The Hill
On October 18th, the Gyppo Ale Mill is excited to celebrate International Day of Rural Women with our newest event, Queen of the Hill. This event is all about the hard working, ass kicking, making no excuses women in Humboldt County! With that said, we need your help! Do you know a kick ass woman that is stomping down life's challenges with style and grace? Perfect. Share them with us by submitting a short paragraph about what makes her amazing and include a photo. We’ll gather them up and create a beautiful display to be showcased the week of the event. Comment below with your submission or email it to family@gyppo.com. OH and did we mention that we’ll have LIVE music by Sherita Perez and The Jewels starting at! Sherita is a songwriter who enjoys writing about High Vibes, positive change through action, manifestation, and choosing to be someone under any circumstances. She also puts this practice into daily life. From the clothes she wears, to the food she eats, to the places she likes to play, Sherita is focused on supporting values such as: depolarization, sustainability, community & conscious capitalism. Sherita's journey has been full of hardship & struggle which has led to much pain. Instead of letting the pain destroy her, she converts this pain into healing and High Vibes songs. The Jewels will also be front and center at this event. These ladies will play to the sounds of our community. Fun, danceable and creative interpretations of original songs and tunes that make you feel good. “The Jewels” will come together for this show only!
