Put a Ring on it: Jewelry Fundraiser for SCRAP Humboldt

SCRAP has been inundated with gorgeous donations of jewelry, beads and crystals including a large donation from a Santa Cruz jeweler who retired. Plus a huge section of jewelry by the pound! Members will get into the sale an hour earlier at 11 am at 101 H Street in Arcata Saturday February 8th. Everyone else can shop from noon-3pm. One day only! ! This fundraiser will support SCRAP Humboldt and their mission to inspire creative reuse and environmental sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community. Feed your inner magpie while you rummage through hundreds of never seen before jewelry and baubles. There will be a broad selection of quality individually priced vintage bracelets, necklaces, roaches and much more. Looking for vintage rhinestone jewelry? You will find that! Want to make gifts for Galentine’s days? There will be the huge variety of beads and prism crystals SCRAP Humboldt is Humboldt County’s only creative reuse center located in the Marsh District, on the corner of South G and H Streets in Arcata. SCRAP Humboldt is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. SCRAP Humboldt plays a vital role in our community by diverting useable materials from the waste stream, educating people about creative reuse and providing inexpensive art, craft, and office supplies. SCRAP Humboldt diverted over 12 tons of the material from the waste stream in Humboldt County in 2019. SCRAP Humboldt is open Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 am – 6pm.
