Originally out of Humboldt County and most recently the Mojave desert, comes trio of nomads OPOSSUM SUN TRAIL. Equal parts western film soundtrack, Bakersfield twang and over the top psychedelia, these desert weirdos have run the gamut of gigs from big city psych festivals to backwoods dives. Members and former members of Moon Pine, White Manna, Spunflower, Nik Turner's Hawkwind, and Idaho.
KATSY PLINE's sophomore record provides a heartworn score for an era of total ecological destruction and riotous uprisings. A melange of countrypolitan love songs of queer intimacies, and American Primitive fingerstyle interludes is cut throughout with the cosmic shimmering of layered synthesizers.
