Model railroad open house
The Humboldt Bay and Eureka Model Railroad Club will hold its fall open house Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The clubhouse is located at 10 W 7th St, Ste C in Eureka. There is a $3 donation for adults to attend. Children 10 and under are free. The model railroad club has been in the same location for over four decades. Each year, it changes and adds scenes in each of the two divisions — mountain and canyon. Most recently, club President David Berriman is adding new scenery to the double trestle in the mountain division. Members Greg Hodges and Tom Cockle will be on hand to show their award-winning models. As usual here will be lots of model railroad items for sale.
