Meet The Local Maker: Judith Trimble Weaving
Our featured Artist of the month is Judith Trimble! We will be hosting Judith on November 30th from 5-8pm.
Judith’s journey with weaving began almost 30 years ago. Her focus is on custom orders as well as a participating member of the Central Valley Hand Weavers Guild.
She works out of her home in Scotia with several looms to make goods like dish towels, washcloths, decorative pieces, custom wedding gifts, and other household items.
Additionally, Judith is working with a Non Profit in Uganda that provides education, food, and supplies to orphaned children. Along with her personal goods she will have dolls that these children have woven with materials she has sent to them. Money from those sales will support the children and the Non Profit’s cause.
