Magical Literacy Party with Dale Lorzo
Humboldt Literacy Project's next free, online family literacy party will feature magician Dale Lorzo. Lorzo will lead children and the adults who love them through a hands-on magic show with a literary twist, Tuesday, June 29th at 2 pm on Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82125878137 Meeting ID: 821 2587 8137 All ages are welcome! As always, there will be activity fun sheets available for this download at humboldtliteracy.org/family. Families without printers can request these sheets by mail. For this extra special show there will be a limited supply of very special magic-themed activity packets for kids. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 20 people that request them. They can be picked up at the Eureka Library starting Wednesday, June 23. Visit the library in person, 12 noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, or call 269-1940 for curbside pickup between 11 a.m. and 12 noon. If you cannot come to the Eureka Library, HLP will mail it to you if you call at 445-3655 or email literacyhelpers@gmail.com before June 23. Since 1981, Humboldt Literacy Project has connected adults who want help with their reading and writing with volunteer tutors for free, confidential, one-on-one English language studies.
