Los Cedros Fundraiser
Los Cedros Biological Reserve is one of the richest and most biodiverse places on the planet. This breathtaking 17,000 acre, pre-montane wet tropical forest and cloud forest in northwestern Ecuador, is under serious threat of mining and we need your help! Join Roo Vandergrift, scientist and producer of the forthcoming documentary film Marrow of the Mountain, for this Informative community gathering, movie showing and dance fundraiser as we work for Justice for Los Cedros. 6pm-7:30 ~ Informative talk with Dr. Roo Vandergrift and friends of Los Cedros. ~ Los Cedros Movie by David Nicastro and ~ Trailer for Marrow of the Mountain by producer Roo Vandergrift. 7:30-10pm ~ Music by the Arcata High Pan Club and Paula Jones Band Food and Drinks are available for purchase at Phatsy Klines.
