KMUD Annual Block Party
KMUD’s annual Block Party will close Redway Drive for an all-day musical and family celebration, May 18th, from noon until nine pm. Music all day from nine bands and duos, including Object Heavy, Buddy Reed and the Rip It Ups, and Kai Clark, whose father played with the Byrds. There will be food by Babette and Friends, beer, wine, mixed and soft drinks, and a bake sale staffed by YOUth in RADio. Also: a massive annual CD and vinyl sale, an activity filled kids’ fun zone. KMUD t-shirts and hats, and the beautiful wares of several vendors. Community members will be re-establishing their bonds of friendship after the long, rainy winter, and supporting our vital community resource in these challenging times.
