Kitchen Concert with Summer & Rosalind

Bayside Community Hall invites you to a Kitchen Concert on Friday, March 16, the night before St. Pat's Day, with the music of Summer & Rosalind. Summer McCall and Rosalind Parducci grew up in Northern California’s unique Scottish fiddle scene. The female fiddlers met and began performing together last summer, with McCall on cello, and Parducci on fiddle. The collaboration on Scottish tunes and original pieces is a joyous blend of two age-old instruments, and the creative minds of two free-spirited artists. Britt Smith will join Summer & Rosalind for this performance. He plays guitar and fiddle in several local bands, teaches lessons locally on fiddle, guitar, mandolin, piano and bass, and repairs violins. For the Kitchen Concerts, Bayside Community Hall transforms its kitchen to feature an intimate café style environment for performers and audiences to connect. When locals think of the Bayside Community Hall (former grange) at 2297 Jacoby Creek Road, one of the largest and best dance floors in the County comes to mind. For the new Kitchen Concerts, the Hall’s kitchen is transformed to feature an intimate café-style experience for audiences and performers to connect. The Kitchen Concerts are $10 per person and will support the Hall’s kitchen upgrade and main hall restoration. Beverages and desserts will be available.
