Humboldt Orchid Show
The Humboldt Orchid Society (HOS), the local nonprofit chapter of the American Orchid Society, will hold it’s annual fund-raising Orchid Show on April 14 2018 from 10am to 5pm at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center, 921 Waterfront Drive, Eureka, CA. Everyone is invited to attend, a $2.00 donation is suggested.
The Orchid Show will feature a display of orchids grown locally by members of the HOS. Plants on display will feature orchids and carnivorous plants easily grown in the home, as well as rare and exotic orchids requiring greenhouse culture.
The HOS will have a sales table offering potting mix and will hold a raffle (need not be present to win) for items donated by local businesses. In addition, there will be local orchid vendors selling orchids in bloom, orchid seedlings, orchid pots, as well as offerings of other exotic plants.
