How Incarceration Impacts Community
An opportunity for the general public, along with returned citizens and folks who provide services and support for the formerly incarcerated and their families. This event is free and open to the public. Come hear from locally formerly incarcerated people, as well Jose Villarreal, Author, Artist, survivor of PBSP SHU, Hunger Striker of 2011 & 2013 to end indefinite solitary, and creator of the play Skeleton Bay. Participants will leave with ideas about what can me done on a local and national level to support formerly and currently incarcerated people. Facilitated by: Vanessa Vrtiak
