Employers Advisory Council Luncheon
For the past year, Humboldt County has been in what most economists would call full employment. Employers are finding it to be difficult, sometimes very difficult, to find, hire and keep employees. In a project for the Workforce Development Board, Michael Kraft of Sequoia Personnel Services has been researching the local employment markets, listening to employers and surveying them on their employment and training needs and difficulties. In this program, Michael will present that research and offer suggestions for both individual employers and for our community to address those pain points and shortages.
