Double the Money Hallabaloo
The Double the Money Hallabaloo benefit will raise funds for the Bayside Community Hall. The event, taking place on Friday, Feb. 8, will raise funds for the hall’s major kitchen upgrade and foundation repair. Two local bands, Home Cookin’ and The Handshakers, will present an evening of music and dance. An optional dinner will precede the music. A local family has pledged to match every dollar raised for the hall until the end of March. The music costs $20 per person and tickets are available at Wildberries Market in Arcata or at the door starting at 5:30 p.m. A home-cooked dinner for $15 will be available from 5:30-7.
