Cider Launch Event
Join Food for People and Humboldt Cider Company for the launch of a new hard cider made from an overabundance of apples that would have otherwise gone to waste. Ten percent of tap sales at the Feb. 4th event, and 17% of total sales from the cider, will support Food for People's Gleaning Program, which helps bridge the gap between local food surplus and food insecurity. Through this partnership, Food for People is continuing its efforts to keep food out of the landfill and move toward zero waste.
