Born and raised near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I've known that I wanted to make art since before I can remember. I've always had a very critical eye for fine art, even at a very young age. I have a strong background in oil and acrylic painting and I also studied printmaking, with a focus on woodcutting and screen-printing at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia from 2006-08.
After I left school, I combined my knowledge of printmaking with an old love of spray paint, and began working with stencils, creating editioned prints.
I moved to Northern California in 2011, where the landscape continues to be an endless source of inspiration for my work.
I started working with pen and marker while I was living in Italy in 2013, and I've continued with this medium since then. I have plans to combine some or all of the mediums that I've used in the past.
Toad is a nickname given to me by my brother when I was fourteen. It is the the moniker I've used for my art ever since.
