Ages and Stages Development Fair at Arcata Play Center

Arcata Play Center with funding from the County of Humboldt is hosting a three day Ages and Stages Developmental Fair for children birth to five years and their families. Join us March 19, 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to build community connections, learn about ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaires) and gather resources and fun activities to share with your child. Early screening with a valid, reliable tool helps you check that your child’s development is on track, identify strengths and needs, and plan learn¬ing activities that help your child reach key milestones. Join the Arcata Recreation Division, Arcata Family Resource Center, Arcata Library, Women, Infants and Children (WIC), First 5 Humboldt, Redwood Discovery Museum, Humboldt County Office of Education, Music with Jose Quezada, Think Babies Humboldt, DHHS SafeCare and many more. The City of Arcata Recreation Division, with funding from First 5 Humboldt, offers a safe and comfortable place for families to meet, share and play. Bring your newborns and children up to five years old to the D Street Neighborhood Center, 1301 D Street in Arcata. Arcata Play Center meets weekly on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (nutritious snacks offered), this is a year-round program.
