Adopt-a-Block Volunteer Appreciation Party - The Northcoast Environmental Center
Are you an Adopt-a-Block Volunteer? Do you want to be? Join us for the second annual Adopt-a-Block Volunteer Appreciation Party! We will be meeting at the Northcoast Environmental Center (415 I St in Arcata) for a brief clean-up, followed by a FREE DINNER for all! Current volunteers will receive a big thank-you, and there will be sign-up opportunities and supplies for future volunteers. We will also be awarding, for the first time, the Golden Broom Award to an extra special volunteer! Adopt-a-Block is a volunteer program that allows you to adopt a block, storefront, bike path, or other space. Volunteers pick up litter and report monthly on their hours and waste they picked up.
