Bridgefest
Imagine yourself flying high in the universe; an alien creature waiting for Human and Alien Games at the 21st annual BridgeFest in Bridgeville. It's just another year for you, hopping in your saucer shuttle and joining in the fun at Bridgeville"s BridgeFest on Saturday, August 19 from 10-5. Just in time to enter the flying saucer trials or the High Stake saucer trials to win big. There's the Alien/Human costume contest to enter, the Dirt Bag Muster to win a pallet of soil and the Pot'n'Rocks to throw off the old bridge. Open your ears to out-of-this-world Live Music and Feast at the Fire Department BBQ or the Homemade pies and goodies. Earthly local businesses and residents have donated prizes for the Bridgeville Community Center fundraising raffle including the homemade Bridgeville King Size quilt, $300 Cash or a $300 Shopping Spree and more than 70 prizes! All day more then 30 human vendors ply their trade to all who walk on the old bridge. I'm landing on the morning of August 19. Look for the green armed, black headed and striped belly person.
