OK! You know the drill, Humboldt! It's time to put things in your mouth that you maybe normally wouldn't. We call it the Arcata Bay Oyster Festival. Since LoCO readers are generally pretty savvy about local goings-on, we're going to assume you don't need O-Fest re-explained but, in case you need a li'l reminder when you're day drunk, here is a quick run down of the Main Stage schedule -- we would not want you to miss all the glory that is the Oyster Calling Contest, of course:

"Humboldt's Social Event of the Year!" The Arcata Bay Oyster Festival is celebrating its 28th year on June 16th 2018 on the historic Arcata Plaza in Northern California. The event brings together people from all over to celebrate the bounty of the sea, water health and aquaculture.
