Being a DJ on KHUM is the culmination of a life's dream for me. Sort of. I have had frequent nightmares -- starting when I was 8 years old -- about being in some populated location and suddenly realizing I'm naked. Being on the radio is a lot like this for me.

I'm frquently asked how I got started in radio and I frequently reply, "I don't know". One day I was the Traffic Manager here at KHUM, taking care of office chores and the next day, I was behind the microphone. I believe I owe the start of my radio career to two things: (1) the KHUM management needed a person for Saturday and Sunday nights and (2) I was the first person they saw. I believe I owe the fact that I'm still on the air some five years later to the fact that KHUM management doesn't listen to my show.

I love being a KHUM diskjockey and I'll do it until either they, the management, or you, the listener, wises up.

You can hear the fear in my voice Monday - Saturday form 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. (And don't forget to tune in to the legendary "Cocktail Hour", every Tuesday night from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.)
